• MySQL version upgrade

MySQL community has planned to deprecate MySQL 5.7 and it will not receive any security patches effective immediately. Therefore, Amazon RDS has ended the standard support of MySQL major version 5.7. We have upgraded to MySQL 8.0 which offers new query functionality, and enhancements for better performance, reliability, security, and manageability.
